Samsung Galaxy S25 Series Might Launch Earlier Than Expected: Details on Release Date and Models

Samsung Galaxy S25 Series May Arrive Sooner Than Expected

Samsung typically debuts its latest Galaxy S series in late January or February. However, a new leak hints that the Galaxy S25 lineup may launch earlier this time. A leaked promotional survey suggests an early January unveiling, marking a possible shift in Samsung’s schedule. The Galaxy S24 series was launched in January this year, while the Galaxy S23 series debuted in February last year. Samsung’s anticipated lineup includes the standard Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, Galaxy S25 Ultra, and potentially a new Slim model.

Growing Evidence for an Early Galaxy S25 Launch

According to a survey leaked by X user IMEI Pham, Samsung may release the Galaxy S25 lineup in early January. The translated screenshots reveal that users who complete the survey will be eligible for a “10 percent discount” on the 2025 Galaxy S series starting “January 5,” hinting at a possible announcement on that date.

A January 5 launch would make the Galaxy S25 Samsung’s earliest Galaxy S release in recent years. For comparison, the Galaxy S24 was announced on January 17 at the Galaxy Unpacked event in San Jose, California, with pre-orders available immediately and in-store sales beginning on January 31. The Galaxy S23 series was revealed on February 1, 2023, and hit stores on February 17.

Samsung has already confirmed that the Galaxy S25 series will launch in the first half of next year. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra are expected to feature new Galaxy AI enhancements. The rumored Galaxy S25 Slim model may join the lineup at a later date.

Previous leaks suggest the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Ultra will offer seven color options, while the Galaxy S25+ will come in eight colors, with three shades available exclusively online.
