OnePlus is reportedly gearing up to launch a new version of its premium tablet, the OnePlus Pad Pro, featuring a larger 13-inch display. If true, this could make it the largest screen ever offered on a OnePlus tablet. However, the new model might feature reduced brightness levels compared to the existing version.
Rumored Features of the 13-Inch OnePlus Pad Pro
According to a recent leak on Weibo by ‘WHYLAB,’ the upcoming OnePlus Pad Pro could sport a 13-inch display, offering a significant size increase over the current model’s 12.1-inch 3K display. The new screen is said to feature a resolution of 3840×2400 pixels, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate, along with support for a three-zone multi-frequency display.
While the resolution is an upgrade from the existing model’s 3200×2120 pixels, the peak brightness may drop from 900 nits to 600 nits.
Specifications at a Glance
Though the Weibo post doesn’t delve into other hardware changes, it’s speculated that many specifications might carry over from the current OnePlus Pad Pro, including:
- Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with Adreno GPU
- Camera: 13MP rear camera and 8MP front-facing camera
- Battery: 9510mAh battery with 67W fast charging
Position in the Market
If launched, the 13-inch OnePlus Pad Pro could compete directly with the Apple iPad Air, iPad Pro 13-inch, and sit below Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, which boasts a 14.6-inch display.
Expected Pricing
The current OnePlus Pad Pro is priced starting at RMB 2,899 (approximately Rs 33,800) for the base model, with the top variant priced at RMB 3,799 (around Rs 44,300). The new 13-inch version could see a slight price increase, considering the larger display and upgraded resolution.
Launch Expectations
The OnePlus Pad Pro initially debuted in China in June as a flagship tablet with high-end features. While details about the launch of the 13-inch version remain scarce, the rumors have sparked excitement among tech enthusiasts.
