Xiaomi’s Pad 7 series, which debuted in China last month, may soon make its way to global markets. The tablets, believed to include the Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro, have recently passed Indonesia’s SDPPI certification, signaling that an international launch could be approaching.
Although the certification doesn’t reveal specific marketing names, it does provide crucial details about the devices. The model numbers listed are 2410CRP4CG for the Xiaomi Pad 7 and 24091RPADG for the Pad 7 Pro, with the ‘G’ suffix possibly indicating a global version. These model numbers are similar to the ones assigned to their Chinese counterparts, 2410CRP4CC and 24091RPADC. The devices are registered under the applicant name “Xiaomi Technology Indonesia” in the “Tablet” category.

Price and Availability
The Xiaomi Pad 7 starts at CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs 23,300), while the Pad 7 Pro is priced at CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs 29,200). Following the launch pattern of the Xiaomi Pad 6 in India, Xiaomi may opt to release only the standard Pad 7 in the country, as the Pad 6 Pro was not introduced there. In line with this, the standard Xiaomi Pad 7 has reportedly secured BIS certification, indicating its potential launch in India soon.
With the SDPPI certification now completed, it’s clear that Xiaomi is preparing to bring the Pad 7 series to a broader audience, and we can expect the official launch to be just around the corner.
